10m CAT6 S-FTP PiMF LS0H Gigabit Network Patch Cable
Network patch cables provide universal connectivity for LAN network components such as PCs, computer servers, printers, routers, switch boxes and PoE devices.
Category 6 cables are made of 4 of high-performance twisted pair conductors, with higher specifications for lower cross talk and system noise than Cat5e cables. The cable standard provides performance of up to 250MHz and is used for Ethernet networks running at speeds up to 1 Gigabit. Cat6 cables are backward compatible with Cat5e systems.
S-FTP: Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair – S-FTP cables consist of pairs of wires twisted together with a layer of foil wrapped around the individual twisted pairs, and an additional overall braid screen covering the 4 pairs of foiled twisted wires. This provides a maximum level of protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference and crosstalk.
PiMF: Pairs in metal foil – PiMF cables have a foil outer sheath around the individual pairs. This construction reduces the amount of interference and crosstalk, along with being one of the most fire-retardant constructions due to the amount of foil insulation.
LS0H: Low smoke zero halogen – LS0H is a material standard for cable jacketing which emits limited smoke and no halogen when exposed to high sources of heat. (LS0H is also known as LSZH, LSOH, LSFH or OHLS.)
