A pure copper cable - Made in Germany. The great advantages of pure OFC (oxygen-free copper) copper cables are their excellent electrical conductivity and low line resistance. Loudspeaker cables are often issued as "pure" copper cables, even though they only have a wafer-thin copper coating. This mainly affects the cables identified as "CCA copper" (aluminum core with a thin copper coating) or "CCS copper" (steel cables with a thin copper coating). These cables have far poorer transmission properties than OFC copper cables!
